Granola bars are one of my favorite on-the-go snacks, so I figured why not try to make my own? This recipe for chocolate covered pretzel granola bars requires minimal ingredients and makes around 16 squares- plenty to keep you fueled all week!

-1/4 cup peanut butter
-1/4 cup maple syrup
-1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
-1.5 cups pretzels, crumbled
-1 cup oats
-5 dates, chopped
-1/2 tsp salt
Method:
-line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper
-melt peanut butter, maple syrup, and chocolate chips together in the microwave and stir until smooth
-stir together pretzels, oats, dates, salt, and chocolate mixture
-press mixture firmly into lined baking dish
-refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight
-slice and enjoy!
