Soy Curl Jerky

Did you know it's super easy to make vegan jerky at home! All you need is a pack of soy curls, some spices, and an oven! It's super flavorful and makes for a great high protein savory snack!

Ingredients:

-8 oz soy curls

-1/2 cup tamari

-1.5 tbsp maple syrup

-1 tbsp liquid smoke

-1 tsp garlic powder

-1.5 tsp onion powder

-1 tbsp paprika

-2 tsp cayenne


Method:

-preheat oven to 250F

-soak soy curls in water until rehydrated, then drain and press out excess water

-combine remaining ingredients to form a sauce

-pour sauce over soy curls and mix until all soy curls are coated

-spread soy curls in an even layer over a baking tray

-bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes

-remove from oven and let cool slightly

-enjoy!
