Popcorn tofu is one of my favorite recipes I’ve ever created. I think I first came up with it about 2 years ago, but every time I make it I’m still amazed by how good it is! It’s super crispy and flavorful, and if you serve it with air fried potatoes and steamed broccoli like I did here, it resembles a fast-food style meal… except completely vegan and homemade!

Ingredients:
-2 tbsp chickpea flour
-2 tbsp nutritional yeast
-1 tsp paprika
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp dijon mustard
-1 tbsp tamari
-2 tbsp plant milk
-salt to taste
-6 oz extra firm tofu, torn
Method:
-combine all ingredients except tofu until smooth
-add in the tofu and stir to coat
-air fry the tofu for 20 minutes at 350F, shaking the basket halfway through
-serve with air fried potatoes and steamed broccoli
-enjoy!
